OVERVIEW
A vulnerability has been corrected in the web server of multiple
Xerox products.
IMPACT
The vendor has provided the following information regarding this
vulnerability:
"A vulnerability exists in the Web Server of the products listed
below. If exploited when SSL is not enabled on the device the
vulnerability could allow remote attackers to obtain unauthorized
access to device configuration settings, possibly exposing customer
passwords." [1]
The following WorkCentre models have been listed as vulnerable [1]:
* 5632
* 5638
* 5645
* 5655
* 5665
* 5675
* 5687
MITIGATION
Xerox have provided a patch to correct this vulnerability, which is
available for download from their site.[2]
