OVERVIEW
Avaya has released three advisories for their product CMS and two
for IR. The advisories correct vulnerabilities in the underlying
Operating Systems.
IMPACT
CVE-2009-2187 "Security Vulnerability in the Solaris IP(7P)
Multicast Reception May Lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) Condition
(Sun 262408)" [1]
CVE-2009-2029 "A Security Vulnerability in the Solaris rpc.nisd(1M)
Daemon may Cause a Denial of Service (DoS) Condition to a NIS+
Server (Sun 256748)" [2]
CVE-2009-2486 "A Security Vulnerability in the Solaris SCTP Packet
Processing may Lead to a System Panic Resulting in a Denial of
Service (DoS) (Sun 253608)" [3]
MITIGATION
It is recommended you apply the latest patches to correct these
vulnerabilities.
