OVERVIEW
WordPress 2.8.4 has been released fixing a vulnerability.

without a key in the database (usually the admin account)..." having
its password reset and emailed to the owner of the account. [1]
MITIGATION
The vendor recommends upgrading to the latest version of WordPress. [1]
