OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in Kernel Virtual Machine (kvm-84 
        and earlier), where a denial of service condition results from a null 
        pointer reference.	


IMPACT

        Crafting a CR3 register with an invalid value via the "KVM_SET_SREGS" 
        call can cause affected systems to crash. [1]


MITIGATION

        A source code patch has been made available to correct the issue. [1]
