OVERVIEW

        A vulnerability has been identified in IBM Websphere Application 
        Server 6.1 before 6.1.0.25, which could be exploited to bypass 
        security restrictions.


IMPACT

        XML encoding is not properly processed in the Web Services component
        in IBM Websphere, allowing attackers to bypass restrictions and 
        possibly modify data [1]. 


MITIGATION

        The vendor recommends applying the latest Fix Pack [2].
