Greetings,
This week has been relatively quiet, with a significant decrease in detected malware and phishing.
That said, we saw a new phishing site warning that the AFP were investigating your credit card under
suspicion that there were payments related to criminal organisations.
Mozilla is celebrating the release of Firefox 3.5 which is bustling with new features, however is not
purported to have corrected any security issues. Firefox 3.5 is currently avaiable for download.
On the vulnerability front, most notable was Adobe's Shockwave Player which could be exploited to expose an administrator compromise from a remote attack, though details are sketchy.
Regards,
Patrick
