OVERVIEW:

       A vulnerability has been identified in Nagios prior to 3.1.1.


IMPACT:

       It is possible for an attacker to inject arbitrary shell code
       by exploiting an input validation error in statuswml.cgi. [1, 2]


MITIGATION:

       The vendor recommends upgrading to Nagios version 3.1.1.
