OVERVIEW:
There has been a report [1] that the current version Mac OS X includes
a version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE), which includes known
vulnerabilities [2].
IMPACT:
There has been a report [1] that the current version of Mac OS X
(including current Security Updates), includes a vulnerable version of
the Java Runtime Environment. A PoC has been released for one of these
vulnerabilities (Remote Deserialization).
MITIGATION:
Disable Java applets for untrusted websites.
