OVERVIEW:
Dokeos before 1.8.5 and prior is confirmed to have a number of
vulnerabilities. These have been corrected in 1.8.6. [1]
IMPACT:
Proper sanitation of input passed to the "search_term" parameter in
main/auth/courses.php (if action is set to "subscribe") is not
enforced.
Proper sanitation of input passed to the "frm_title" and "frm_content"
parameters is not enforced when adding a new personal agenda item.
Validation checks on certain HTTP requests are not performed.
Proper sanitation of input passed to the "title" and "tutor_name"
parameters when adding a new course is not enforced before being
used.
Proper sanitation of input passed to the "student" and "course"
parameters in main/mySpace/myStudents.php is not enforced before
being used in SQL queries.
Proper sanitation of input passed to "student" and "course"
parameters in main/mySpace/myStudents.php is not enforced before
being returned to the user.
There are further vulnerabilities caused by unspecified issues. [1]

A patch is available from the Dokeos website. [1]
