Comment: The referenced website requires a Nortel Support account to access.
OVERVIEW:
Nortel has released a security bulletin identifying a vulnerability in
the Nortel Application Gateway, which exposes sensitive data to
unauthorised users.
DETAILS:
'The "Nortel Administration Tool powered by Citrix" can be accessed
under the URL "https://<server>:3001/". Thesubframe
"https://<server>:3001/adminDownloads.htm" does not show any content
in the browser view. However the HTML-source of this frame may be
used to obtain sensitive administrative user account information.' [1]
MITIGATION:
Nortel supports upgrading directly to Application Gateway Release
6.3.1 from releases 6.1.0.409, 6.1.1.437, and 6.2.551.
Please refer to the Nortel advisory for fixes to your specific
product. [1]
