OVERVIEW:

Avaya has released two (2) security bulletins correcting multiple
        vulnerabilities in multiple products.

IMPACT:

The vendor has described these vulnerabilities as:

"The Web management interface on several versions of Avaya SIP
Enablement Services (SES) was found to contain input validation
vulnerabilities. This could potentially allow for a user of the Web
management interface to execute arbitrary code." [1]

"The Web management interface on several versions of Avaya SIP
Enablement Services (SES) was found to allow unauthorized access to
several files. This could allow a remote user to view these files
without being authenticated to the Web management interface." [1]

"The Web management interface on several versions of Avaya
Communication Manager was found to contain input validation
vulnerabilities. This could potentially allow for an authenticated
user of the Web management interface to execute arbitrary code." [2]

MITIGATION:

Customers using Avaya SIP Enablement Services 3.x and 4.0 should
upgrade to SES 5.0 or later. [1]

Customers using Avaya Communication Manager (CM) 3.1.x should upgrade
        to CM 3.1.4 SP2 or later. [2]
Customers using Avaya Communication Manager (CM) 4.0.x should upgrade
        to 4.0.3 SP1 or later. [2]
