OVERVIEW:
A number of vulnerabilities have been identified in IBM WebSphere
Application Server for z/OS prior to version 7.0.0.3.
IMPACT:
The fix pack addresses multiple issues, in particular two security
vulnerabilities described by the vendor as:
"PK77505 Cross site scripting vulnerability in adminstrative
console." [1]
"PK77590 Interim fixes that replace existing files or create new
files incorrectly set permission to 777 rather than 755." [1]
MITIGATION:
The vendor recommends applying APAR PK82988, or upgrade to version
7.0.0.3 when it becomes available. [1]
