OVERVIEW:
Novell has acknowledged a vulnerability in ZENworks Configuration
Management.
IMPACT:
An information disclosure vulnerability has been identified in the
Embedded Datastore server of ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with
Support Pack 1. The Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere database used by
the ZENworks Embedded Datastore is configured to listen for client
connection broadcasts and exposes the name and port that the Sybase
Adaptive Server Anywhere is running on. [1]
MITIGATION:
A configuration setting in The Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere
database is required to be changed in order to turn off broadcast
listening. Please see the vendor's advisory for instructions. [1]
