OVERVIEW:
Novell has issued a patch to correct a vulnerability in the iMonitor
component of eDirectory 8.7.3 SP10 FTF1.
IMPACT:
A buffer overflow condition can result when receiving HTTP requests
due to a boundary error, which can allow remote unauthorised injection
of arbitrary code or a denial of service. [1, 2]
MITIGATION:
It is recommended that users apply the latest hotfix. [3]
