OVERVIEW:
An updated version of phpMyAdmin has been released, correcting two
security vulnerabilities.
IMPACT:
Insufficiently sanitised cookies used by the export page could be used
for cross-site scripting. [1]
An attacker can include arbritrary PHP code within a manipulated POST
request to deceive a setup script used to generate configuration. [2]
MITIGATION:
It is recommended to upgrade to phpMyAdmin 2.11.9.5 or 3.1.3.1 from
the following location:
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/downloads.php
Alternatively, apply the patches as follows:
