Greetings all,

Be aware that the Foxit vulnerability referred to in last week’s blog post now has an active exploit, so patch your system now if you haven’t already done so.

Symantec has acknowledged a vulnerability in Autonomy KeyView, affecting their Mail Security and Data Loss Prevention products, among others, and comes with a High Severity rating.

IBM has acknowledged a moderately critical vulnerability in WebSphere Application Server 5.1, 6.0, 6.1 and 7.0.

Internet Explorer 8.0 has been released this week. According to Microsoft, security has been a key focus in this new version. Two security features are introduced: greater privacy and safer browsing.
