Greetings,
This week Mozilla released updates for multiple security issues affecting
Firefox, Thunderbird and Seamonkey
, including execution of arbitrary code and a denial of service bug. One of those vulnerabilities is classed critical so be sure to update.
A number of other interesting vulnerabilities were also corrected in
sudo
and
Squid
, the first resulting in a root compromise and the second a Denial of Service (DoS) on the Squid server.
Also registrations are now open for AusCERT2009 - AusCERT Asia Pacific Information Security Conference, to be held at the Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast from the 17th to 22nd May 2009. Register now at:

A list of confirmed of confirmed speakers is available at:

Regards,
Patrick
