OVERVIEW:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Trend Micro HouseCall Server
Edition Active X client which could allow remote attackers to
execute arbitrary code.
IMPACT:
"When HouseCall Active X Client is installed on your machine, it exposes
the computer to a vulnerability that allows a hacker to run arbitrary
code." [1]
MITIGATION:
Trend Micro has produced Hot Fix Build 1285 of HouseCall Server 6.6
which can be obtained from Trend Micro Technical Support.
Trend Micro has also added the disclaimer that this Hot Fix has had
limited testing and is not certified as an official product update. As
such administrators should test this Hot Fix before deployment.
