OVERVIEW:
Tivoli Provisioning Manager (TPM), Tivoli Provisioning Manager for
Software (TPMfSW) and Tivoli Intelligent Orchestrator (TIO) do not
correctly authenticate users who attempt to run SOAP commands. [1]
IMPACT:
LDAP users who belong to the domain used by TPM, TPMfSW or TIO are
able to run SOAP commands. This is only the case if LDAP
authentication is shared with other applications. [1]
MITIGATION:
IBM has released Interim Fix IF0006 for 5.1.1.1 to correct this
issue. Users of other versions must upgrade to 5.1.1.1 before
installing Interim Fix IF0006. [1]
