Summary:

A potential security vulnerability in some Intel Network Adapter installer
software may allow escalation of privilege. Intel is releasing software updates
to mitigate this potential vulnerability.

Description: Uncontrolled search path in some Intel(R) Network Adapter
installer software may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable
escalation of privilege via local access.

Recommendation:

Intel recommends updating the Administrative Tools for Intel Network Adapters
software to version 27.3 or later.
