OVERVIEW:
The mod_fastcgi component of Lighttpd contains a buffer overflow
vulnerability during processing of HTTP headers.
IMPACT:
If the mod_fastcgi module is used, an attacker may remotely compromise
the server, executing arbitrary code with the privileges of the
lighttpd process.
Example exploit code for this vulnerability has been widely published.
MITIGATION:
Lighttpd 1.4.18 has been released fixing this vulnerability. [2]
