OVERVIEW:

        Microsoft have released an out-of-cycle patch fixing multiple 
        vulnerabilities including the recently disclosed animated cursor
        parsing vulnerability [1][2].

        
IMPACT: 

        Several potential impacts are possible depending on the vulnerability 
        being exploited these include arbitrary code execution, denial of 
        service or privilege escalation on vulnerable systems.

        Systems most likely to be affected by these vulnerabilities are 
        workstations and terminal servers.


MITIGATION:

        Apply the patches available from Microsoft [1].
