OVERVIEW:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Firefox which affects the
latest and possibly prior versions.
IMPACT:
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in the
execution of arbitrary code in the context of the current user.
An exploit for the vulnerability that results in a Denial of Service
(DoS) has been made public. CVE-2009-1169 has been assigned to this
vulnerability which is described as:
"The txMozillaXSLTProcessor::TransformToDoc function in Mozilla
Firefox 3.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial
of service (crash) via an XML file with a crafted XSLT transform."

MITIGATION:
Mozilla has confirmed this vulnerability [2] and plans to release
a patch on April 1st 2009. [3]
